Explore the possibilities of hosting your wedding at Washington Height’s Morris-Jumel Mansion during our free open house on Sunday, Jan. 29, 3 to 5pm. The 250-year-old house—Manhattan’s oldest— once served as General George Washington’s HQ during the 1776 battle of New York and for 50 years was home to Eliza Jumel, one of America’s richest women and second wife to Vice President Aaron Burr.
Palomino Catering will be serving their signature small bites and refreshments, and Baby Soda Jazz Band will be performing in this unique, historic space. Morris-Jumel staff will be on hand to answer questions about the venue and its rental for your ceremony and/or reception, indoors and out. All free with RSVP!
